How cute are these pig booties? When a customer requested these I was excited to try them out! I used this pattern from Hopeful Honey for the booties! The pattern was easy to follow and turned out so sweet! The frog booties are precious and are on my list of things to make!
- Size E crochet hook
- Worsted weight yarn in pink and black
- Yarn needle
Snout (make 2)
Make a magic ring and crochet 8 sc in ring. Tighten ring and leave a long tail for sewing!
Take black yarn and thread your yarn needle. Thread yarn on circle to look like a pig snout.
Ears (Make 4)
Row 1: ch 2, 1 sc in second chain from hook. Ch 1, turn
Row 2: 2 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2 sc in each stitch (4 sc)
Leave a long tail for sewing
For the eyes, I did a french knot. I watched this video on YouTube over and over until I figured it out!
I tried buttons for the eyes, but they just didn’t look right to me!
The hardest part of making shoes for me is making each shoe look exactly the same! I assemble and reassemble several times before I’m finally happy! I would love to see how YOUR pig booties turned out! You can share them on my Facebook page, or tag me on Instagram! (@ramsileigh_crochet)
