Hot Off My Hook: Recent Crochet Projects

Hi Crocheters!  I thought I would show you what’s been on my hook lately!

Pom Beanie

This is a favorite of mine! I love how easily it works up.  The Pom on this hat was a custom request and I LOVE how it turned out!  If you don’t have a Pom Pom Maker you are missing out! I can whip them up in no time with that little gadget!

Elf Hat

This hat is PERFECT for newborn pictures! If you know a Christmas baby, I would suggest making something like this as a gift.  The pictures always turn out so adorable! I didn’t use a pattern for this hat but I have seen several free patterns on pinterest. I am planning on writing up this pattern and posting it soon! Once again, the pom pom maker is my new best friend!

Anchor Hat

This little guy is so sweet.  I was asked to make this hat to match a nautical themed nursery!  I am a sucker for all things nautical (my dog is even named Harbor)! The pattern I used for the anchor is from Daisy Cottage Designs! THIS LINK takes you to her pattern for a sweet matching nautical baby blanket! I used THIS ANCHOR APPLIQUE PATTERN for the hat but instead of using a size H hook, I used a size F hook.

Cubs Inspired Hat

Remember that one time the Cubs won the world series?  I knew I had to make a hat for all the little cub fans out there!  For the letter C, I used THIS PATTERN from Moogly! You can find FREE PATTERN links to the entire alphabet! I outlined the C in white and added some bear ears and a tiny bow! I think it turned out pretty cute!
